[Asian rubber] spot rubber prices were mostly flat, supported by tight supply

Asian spot rubber prices were mostly flat on Thursday, although TOCOM market and Shanghai Rubber fell slightly today, supported by continuous tight spot rubber supply and robust consumer demand. Traders said that the market outlook will remain firm at least in the short term, although the production in the main rubber producing areas is expected to increase later this month. The RSS3 of Thai No. 3, which was shipped in May and has the functions of measurement, control, calculation and storage, reported 294 cents per kilogram, compared with 294 cents in the previous transaction. The Thai tire grade standard rubber str20 shipped in May was reported to be 284 cents per kilogram, and the previous transaction reported 28, which could start from a production line by 4 cents.
